The Death of Bunny Munro by Nick Cave

Nick Cave
Just finished my fast reading of Nick Cave's novel The Death of Bunny Munro. Having done that, I can not recommend it to any lover of literature. It might have been a interesting short story following the downfall of man, but instead it is an uninteresting short novel about a annoying character becoming more and more annoying until he goes fucking dead. A few times while reading I got the feeling that Cave was playing with Irvine Welsh's Filth. It does not contain any of the poetry I expected from this great master of lyrics.

Birta Borges: I agree. I found it so incredibly boring that I never finished reading it. Felt like I was wasting my time.
Sigurður: I just finished because I was looking for the point of it ... which I did not find. [Canongate Books (UK) / Faber & Faber (US)]
