A dream I had this morning (written three mornings ago)
I'm in a band (I used to sing for a band that toured). We're playing a pub or a restaurant in Belgium. We open our set by playing a "Living Dead," a Entombed cover. There's not a lot of people in attendance. A good number sit in chairs and at tables. The few that are watching us end up being knocked into a tables (as I was want in real life) full of glasses and dishes, knocking over and breaking things. Somebody notifies the owner. He rushes to me mid song and starts barking down my throat as we are playing. I wants to know why I did this and that I'm supposed to pay for damages and he won't stand for this, my behaviour is unacceptable, and so on. This is happening while the "there is no other God, Satan killed him" sampler kicks in (listen). I manage to convince the owner that this entirely my fault and not to befall on my band as such. All this while playing. I calm the owner down and promise him I'll get an appropriate sum of money together for him. Around 3:30 into the song I start getting anxious I'll miss my vocal cue. But I don't. Around 3:42 I come in tight and rip into the song again (here)! The owner is gone and I could continue to tear it up. Brilliant. I love Entombed.
