One of my favourite bands of all time is playing the Iceland edition of All Tomorrow's Parties (site). I'll gladly go on record telling you this is the best foreign act this year. Easily. By far. No care for the rest really.  I'm partial to the mighty Eistnaflug festival (site), being a superior affair and experience (I'm a prophet, sue me), and that is where I'm going but...

... FUCK MY BALLS AND I'M OBLIGED TO TELL YA, that the god's of air and punch SHELLAC are playing ATP. It's not that the fest's organizers have confirmed it in writing but the teaser image above gives it away. No it's not Slint you daft bastards! How could you mistake the two?

FULL DISCLOSURE: This is conceivably a cleaver way to tell us Slint's gonna play. At least that's our friend's latest crime scene analysis - let's give it up for our friend Arnar Eggert for mixing up our feelings even more!
