I'll have you know #2, feat. CRUCIAMENTUM

I run around in a death metal thread on a messageboard. Today said board yielded gold for my ears! I'll have you know that Cruciamentum's new song is so damn good, it should have been source/foundations for Morbid Angel's Heretic album. I'll get to that a bit later.

This U.K. darkened death metal outfit used to set out from Nuclear Winter Records but their soon-to-be released Charnel Passages album will come out on Profound Lore Records. If the hellishly impressive "Piety Carved From Flesh" is any indicator, we're in for a solid listening experience.
Now back to Morbid Angel. To me, this song lends has in parts that demented feel of Formulas Fatal To The Flesh, but less convoluted. Its darkness and tidal wave-like terror is worthy of Gateways To Annihilation. Yeah, I love Tucker-era Morbid Angel, but Heretic saw them go off the rails. "Piety Carved From Flesh" sounds like the logical progression in quality had the band not lost its marbles. In my world, this means good. Very fucking good!

This song conjures up other connections and feelings. You can find me in the comments section if you want to talk about it.
