Dear readers. It was in March of this year when my partner in cool, one Andrew Aversionline, posted our eight and not-to-be-last instalment of the beloved Mystery Grab Bag over at No Echo. It's only now that I'm telling you about it. What can I say, life has been happening quite a bit, blog be damned. But I always wanted you to have a read and listen, and here we are!
But before I link you up with the good stuff, I wanted to bring a couple of facts to your attention. Stay with me here - you'll be rewarded with a list (people love lists).
Since the inception of the Bag, me and Andrew have waxed poetic about and listened to 80 songs. That's 80 bands! Now, one of the biggest kicks we get out of this is when you, the reader, discover a new band that you didn't know of. In all likelihood, most of the songs we covered are songs you haven't heard before. And isn't that one of the best things when it comes to the love of music; the unknown and the unexpected? It sure is to us.
